Every Wednesday night after the teaching time we break out into small groups. These groups run for approx 25 minutes and are facilitated by student leaders who are in turn overseen by adult coaches. The groups are designed to facilitate fellowship and community amongst peers of the same gender and age for the purpose of maturity and growth through applicational questions as guided by leaders. In the small group context, students have an opportunity to share victories and struggles, as well as to pray for one another and for their campuses and community.
We host two camps per year (both a Winter and Summer), both of which are held at Calvary Chapel’s Green Valley Camp in Big Bear CA.
During the course of a typical year we prayerfully plan and lead 2-3 mission trips. This usually consists of 1-2 international trips and 1-2 local trips. Past mission trips include England, Brazil, El-Salvador, Paraguay, Mexico, Hurricane Katrina Relief (Mississippi), and Skid Row L.A. (Thanksgiving & Easter Break). High School Mexico Missions Trip

Each missions trip to Mexico is a unique opportunity for us to be the “hands and feet” of the body of Christ in a very needy area. This short trip is a great introduction to missions, but will also provide any high school student with a way to share their faith in a practical way.
Remember:
Be flexible! Plans and itineraries will change.
Be prepared! We will have a fairly demanding schedule.
Be in prayer! Keep our team, the people in Mexico, and our outreaches in prayer.
Team Requirements
Attending weekly meetings on Wednesday nights at 6pm
Fulfilling all financial obligations
Submission to all leadership before and throughout the trip
Being a “team-player”. The team must work in unity.
Providing a current, valid United States passport.
