At Refuge we believe God has given us the mission of leading high school students to a maturing faith, knowledge, and love of Jesus through the gospel, resulting in a gospel community on mission to the campuses, community and cities in which we are a part.
Vision
By the power of the Holy Spirit, and by the gospel and Lordship of Jesus Christ, our vision to accomplish this mission is four-fold in that we desire to see:
- Lost students found eternally
- Found students growing to maturity
- Maturing Students reproducing themselves spiritually
- Students on mission to campus city and community
We Believe: worship of God should be Spiritual.
Therefore: We remain flexible and yielded to the Holy Spirit to direct our worship.
We Believe: worship of God should be Inspirational. Therefore: We give a great place to music in our worship.
We Believe: worship of God should be Intelligent. Therefore: Our services are designed with great emphasis upon teaching of the Word of God that He might instruct us how He should be worshipped.
We Believe: worship of God is Fruitful. Therefore: We look for His Love in our lives as the supreme manifestation that we have truly been worshipping Him.
Our services and worship style is casual. Our meeting times are on:
Sunday Mornings
Prayer Meeting 7:45 am
Worship Service 9:30 & 11:15 am
Wednesday Nights
Worship Service 7:20 – 9:00 pm
During these times, students have the opportunity to passionately worship Jesus, be encouraged through engaging Bible study, as well as to pray and seek the Lord with peers and Refuge leaders. We also seek to facilitate outside fellowship through events, sports and games, or just hanging out with other Refugees.
